What Is The Archive?
The Ethereal Muse Archives is a living collection of stories preserved through fashion, memory, objects, film, and immersive exhibition.
Created by founder Elma Malagic following years of navigating bipolar disorder, trauma, and recovery after sexual assault, the archive transforms personal experiences into symbolic collections known as Muses.

The Ethereal Muse Archives is currently in preservation and development.
Public exhibitions, guided tours, immersive installations, and special events are planned as the archive continues to grow. Visitors will eventually be able to explore the collection both physically and digitally.

An acquisition is any object, garment, photograph, artifact, story, film, or symbolic item formally preserved within the archive.
Each acquisition contributes to the larger narrative of a Muse, exhibition, or archival collection.

The Ethereal Muse Archives is currently constructing its first immersive archive and exhibition space in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Every muse, installation, acquisition, and artifact is being created and preserved by hand as part of a growing collection exploring memory, identity, beauty, and becoming.
The archive remains independently funded, with new additions continuously entering preservation.
